How Do We Get Hitched?!

It’s all a bit confusing hey? The legalities require that you are both over the age of 18 (or have a court order allowing you to marry if you’re 16-18), and not related to each other (I know, I know - creepy).

You then need to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage with me one calendar month before the ceremony. After checking your ID to make sure you’re legit, we’re good to go!

How Does The Process Work?

I’m a lover of a wine and a big old chat about your love story. So once you’re booked in, you get access to The Love Lab where you’ll find my calendar. You book in a time to meet that suits us both, and then we catch up for (COVID-friendly) cuddles and alllllll the questions. We’ll run through the ceremony inclusion options, make sure we’re all on the same page about what vibes you’re wanting to create, and generally become besties.

Then you fill in your Lovers’ Questionnaire, and I create your dream ceremony!

Do You Have a PA?

Oh baby - do I ever! I’ve got the Rolls Royce of PAs - a Bose S1 Pro System and a fancy schmany Sennheiser mic. It is battery operated, and you’re welcome to use it to play your ceremony music!

How Do We Book You?!

Ok, so now you’ve stalked my insta and my website and you’ve fallen in love with the MarriedbyAllegra dream, it’s time to lock it down! Once I confirm my availability, I’ll send you through the Booking Form. From there, you pay a Booking Fee equivalent to 50% of the Ceremony Fee. Once I receive both the Booking Form and the Booking Fee, your date is secure!

Will You Travel to Us?

I love a destination wedding!

I’ve travelled all around Australia and New Zealand marrying lovers, so of course I’m open to travelling to your venue.

Travel within 2 hours of Sydney is included in my price. If you’re keen for me to marry you and you’re outside this, let me know when you enquire and I’ll send you a travel quote.

How Much GF?!

Yeah, yeah I know - you want to know how much it’s going to cost you to be MarriedbyAllegra.

Send me an enquiry form and I’ll send you the deets. I don’t share my fees online because I need to know more about what you’re looking for in your ceremony, when and where it is rah rah rah.

I will tell you upfront though - the service I offer is boutique and my price reflects the very high standard of my ceremonies.

What’s with the Selfies?!

So, you’ve seen the selfies with my couples all over my socials and you’re like “huuuuuuh?” (actually, if you’re my people, you’ll more likely be like “CUUUUUTE we wanna do that!)

We’ll be totally obsessed with each other by the time your big day rolls around, but that doesn’t mean you want me in everyyyy single photo from your ceremony. So I spend most of my time off to one side, leaving your photogs the best opportunity to get the perfect snaps of you both. So when it comes to photos together - the is insurance that we actually get a cute one of the three of us, and hopefully your photographer captures the moment!
